NO NEW RUNWAYS
MORE AIR TRAVEL IS BAD FOR OUR HEALTH
Airport expansion will increase air pollution and noise levels. We cannot afford to increase the number of flights Britons are taking, we will miss our climate emergency targets and damage the health of the British people.
BRISTOL AIRPORT MUST NOT EXPAND
Expanding Bristol airport will damage local communities and contribute to more deaths from air pollution. 40,000 people already die across the country every year from complications related to air pollution, we will not stand for this in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
INVEST IN TRAINS & BUSES
We will aim to reduce the need for air travel in the UK by investing heavily in rail services and buses. Shorter journey times and cheaper fares will lead to a reduction in demand for short haul flights and deliver a better service for customers.
